I never knew when we became best friends but this conversation 13 years ago is still very vivid in my memory, here’s how it went…
7th Class Lunch Recess
Me: Dude, do you want to taste my lunch?
Pra: What is it? You know I don’t eat non-vegetarian food
Me: Ofcourse dude I’d never do that, It’s just veg Manchuria
Pra: Alright, let me have some…
Me: Doesn’t it taste heavenly?
Pra: It does, am surprised it never tasted like this before
Two things happened after that incident, he never stopped talking to me and never stopped eating chicken! Oh yeah…that was indeed chicken Manchuria
Now when I look back at that incident there are so many things that could have happened but the fact is they never did and the rest as they say is history

The Dude
Praneeth is the ultimate dude, commonly also referred to as a Man’s man…that makes you my bitch by the way. He’s the kind of guy you always want by your side, someone who ALWAYS gets things done miraculously, and someone you can always count on. He’s in many people’s eyes a NATURAL, a person who can talk about anything eloquently without knowing anything and more importantly without sounding foolish. His ability to weave stories out of air, sand, water and everything that we normal human beings consider inconceivable is legendary. We all know that he’s obviously messing with us, but his irresistible charm and wit means that you want to listen to him as to how far he can go. This trait will stood him in good stead and am sure it’ll take him places…
The Prankster
He is beyond doubt the greatest prankster I’ve met. PERIOD. Over the years, his ability to quickly assess a situation and pull off a prank has left us all dumbfound and aghast. Being his best friend means I’m not the victim most of the times but nevertheless just witnessing these pranks unfold is sometimes a pure joy…Yes, we’re sadists!
The Friend
LIVEWIRE! That’s the word that best describes him. It doesn’t take too long for this guy to make a friend…what surprises me even more is the fact that he remains a friend for life! Talking to strangers can be hard enough…but this guy makes you feel at ease from the minute he steps into a room. But he doesn’t stop there…he chips away till you become his good friend and then becomes your good friend’s good friend and so on till practically everyone calls him a friend…I guess that’s one reason I don’t have a lot of friends…coz everyone is his friend and hence my friend too…
The Singer
As if he wasn’t blessed with enough qualities, this guy can SING, I mean he can really really sing. His voice has won him an audience many a times and I’ll always hold it against him for not training to become one.
The Human Being
Perhaps, Praneeth’s most endearing trait is the one no one in this world has, his ability to make me cry. I still remember the time I broke down right after getting onto the train to go to Pilani for the first time and during my farewell party before coming to KG. Over the years, no one has been to able do this more successfully than this guy. It’s unbelievable! Its unreal as to how he does it! If you want to make me cry, you know whom to contact!
As you enter your 24th year, I want you to know that you’ve been one of my greatest influences. You’ve to taught to me live, laugh, love and cry. Thank you for all the good times and sorry for the all the tough times I gave you!
